Dr. Esse has practiced in the Lowcountry for 10 years, with extensive experience and expertise in pediatric and educational audiology, adult and geriatric audiology, central auditory processing evaluations, evaluation and management of positional vertigo, tinnitus evaluation, industrial audiology, and hearing aid evaluations, fitting and service.
Dr. Esse received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Audiology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Dr. Esse originally hails from Canada (Barrie, Ontario), but now calls Charleston home. She lives in Charleston with her husband and two children. In her free time, Dr. Esse enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her family.
Lori has been with Daniel Island Hearing Center since its inception in 2005. Prior to this, Lori managed her own company, "Elder Helpers", assisting individuals with their daily activities. Lori is originally from Clearwater, Florida, and then spent many years in the Cleveland, Ohio area. She lives in Mt. Pleasant and enjoys spending time with her children and grand-daughter. She is an animal enthusiast, and has two dogs and a cat to care for.
